The Procura+ Awards reward successful, already running, sustainable and innovative public procurements. These procurements lead to significant improvements of public goods, services, processes and infrastructure. The finalists of the 2020 Procura+ Awards are revealed in all four categories: Sustainable Procurement of the Year, Innovation Procurement of the year, Outstanding Innovation Procurement in ICT, and Procurement Initiative of the year.
The FABULOS project is a finalist for Outstanding Innovation Procurement in ICT. As stated, “The project is a major push toward automated public transport and can accelerate more coherent and safe regulation around procuring and operating these solutions”.
The awards ceremony will take place during the Environmental Aspects in Public Procurement in Europe Conference, organised by the German Environmental Protection Agency (UBA), in Berlin. The event will take place partially online and partially in person.
