In 2019, the FABULOS Academy will be launched. Six one-hour webinar sessions will be organised on robot bus topics introducing basic concepts, specific terminology and technologies commonly encountered in the field of automated mobility. The target group is cities and procuring authorities: first and foremost the FABULOS Preferred Partners. In addition, other cities and procuring authorities can register for the webinars.
The topic of the second FABULOS Academy webinar is “Regulatory aspects of autonomous mobility”. The presenter is Special Adviser (ITS & automation) Eetu Pilli-Sihvola from Finnish Transport and Communications Agency. Among others, Pilli-Sihvola contributed to the European Legal Implementation Roadmap for autonomous driving, as part of the European Interreg Sohjoa Baltic project.

– Concept of levels of automation and operational design domain
– Legal and liability issues of automated driving
– Transport service laws: Can anyone put up a transportation service?
