In 2019, the FABULOS Academy will be launched. Six one-hour webinar sessions will be organised on robot bus topics introducing basic concepts, specific terminology and technologies commonly encountered in the field of automated mobility. The target group is cities and procuring authorities: first and foremost the FABULOS Preferred Partners. In addition, other cities and procuring authorities can register for the webinars.
The topic of the third FABULOS Academy webinar is “Technical solutions in robot shuttles”. The presenter is FABULOS Technical Project Manager, Oscar Nissin from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Robot buses are moving sensor banks, filled with high tech gadgets. Oscar Nissin will go through the technology of what makes robot buses tick, with a small glimpse to the underlying science behind the technology.
